James A. Gioia, CPA, CGMA
PRESIDENT AND OWNER
Jim focuses his practice in the areas of tax planning and tax return preparation. Jim earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and attended graduate classes at the University of California Berkeley. He spent the first ten years of his career with a national public accounting firm; working in the cities of Houston, San Francisco, and Chicago. He has written seminars and taught other CPAs in tax and accounting subjects. He has also conducted seminars for the general public and has been interviewed by newspapers regarding tax issues and changes in the tax laws. In his spare time, Jim enjoys staying fit, ballroom dancing, and competitive billiards.

Leann M. Gioia
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Leann focuses on tax return preparation, assisting clients in gathering information, and QuickBooks advisory services. Leann is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has been preparing tax returns and helping clients with their QuickBooks accounting since earning her college degree at the University of Iowa in 2014. Outside of tax and accounting, Leann spends time dancing modern and ballet with professional dance companies, hiking, reading, and going to museums.

Debbie maintains the books for several clients of the firm. If help is needed elsewhere in the office, Debbie is always ready to step in. She has lived in the McHenry County area all her life. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
